Ginny Care is all about the health and wellbeing of both dogs and their owners.
The health of our dogs is something which we often take for granted and it’s only in hindsight that we think of ways in which we could have done things differently, done things better. This was us with a 6 month old Labrador called Ginny who had just wolfed half a punnet of grapes. At the time we weren’t aware that grapes are highly toxic to dogs and that ingesting them can be fatal.
We were lucky and Ginny pulled through with the right professional care, but we realised that grapes weren’t the only potential looming emergency and that we were woefully underprepared should one of these situations arise again in the future. We couldn’t let another dog owner go through what we had and it was time to do something about it and so we created Ginny Care.
COMPANY & PRODUCT HISTORY
We’ve always had dogs in the family and it’s this experience that has given us a unique insight into the very many ways in which our beloved four-legged friends can get themselves into all sorts of bother!
The unfortunate reality of dog ownership is that at some point, regardless of how experienced you may be with dogs, your dog will pick up an injury or be unwell. This is exactly what motivated us to come up with a simple and straightforward guided first aid kit that was as easy to understand as it was to use.
We put potentially life-saving advice, guidance and simple instructions in the palm of your hand and in doing so we give any dog owner, regardless of experience, the ability to make the right decisions at the right time to maximise the chances of a successful outcome for their dog. All the time whilst minimising stress, pressure and the inevitable angst that arises as the result of an injured or sick dog.

At Ginny Care our sole mission is to enhance the experience of dog ownership for both dog and owner.
We do this by developing affordable and meaningful products and services that allow dog owners to care for their dogs in ways which outside of traditional veterinary care simply hasn’t been made available before.

Yes, our canine first aid kit is the only kit available in the marketplace that has been developed in collaboration
with one of the UK’s leading Veterinary teaching Universities. Licensed veterinarians and veterinary nurses
have approved all components and treatment guidance to ensure that the kit meets the highest safety
standards for canine care.
Are the items in the kit safe for my dog?
All items are veterinary-approved and safe when used as directed. Follow the included instructions and
contact a veterinarian if you’re unsure about any procedure.
Is this kit suitable for all dog breeds and sizes?
Yes, the kit is designed for dogs of all breeds and sizes. However, for very small or large dogs, consult your

How do I use the items in the canine first aid kit?
The kit includes a detailed instruction guide with step-by-step directions for each item. We recommend
reviewing the guide before an emergency and consulting a veterinarian for serious injuries.
Can I use this kit for other pets, like cats?
While some items (e.g., antiseptic wipes, gauze) may be used for other pets, the kit is specifically designed for
dogs. Consult your veterinarian before using the kit on other animals.
What should I do in a serious pet emergency?
Use the kit to provide immediate care as instructed, but always contact or visit your veterinarian as soon as

How do I know when to replace items in the kit?
Firstly, whenever you’ve used an item. We hope you never have to use any items within your kit but just in
case we also keep detailed records of the expiry dates of ail perishable items contained within your kit and
we’ll automatically send you out a replacement as and when these items reach the end of their useful lives
(this ranges typically between 6 -24 months depending upon the specific item in question). Always check the
expiration dates on items like antiseptic wipes and saline solution. We recommend inspecting the kit every 6
months and replacing used or expired items.
Can I purchase replacement items for the kit?
Yes, we offer individual replacement items and refill packs on our website. Visit the Refill Section to order
individual components.
How do I place an order?

Where do you ship?
Whilst plans are underway to roll out shipping throughout Europe, the Middle East & Africa, North America &
Asia Pacific, we currently only offer shipping throughout Great Britain & N.I because we’re still finding our feet!
How long will my order take to arrive?
Standard next day delivery is what we aim to achieve but that’s not to say that for those more remote delivery
addresses this can be closer to 3 days.
Can I track my order?
Yes! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number via email to monitor its progress.
What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging. Please review our Returns

How do I return an item?
